Nordic Fusion – is a Scandinavian inspired boutique that stock not only beautiful homewares, but accessories, clothing, sweets, toys and jewellery. They have a wide range of international brands that have carefully been selected for their cutting-edge design, including Georg Jensen & Normann Copenhagen. Our favourites include the huge range of cushions, and their amazing blankets and throws.
Smithmade – Nicole & David Dunbar, the owners of Manly’s Mr & Mrs Smith started Smithmade in Balgowlah. The showroom of Smithmade is made up of many different rooms, and offers its customers an editorial magazine-like experience. It features pieces from both local and international designers, including Turkish rugs, South East Asian antiques, as well as many Scandinavian labels. Smithmade also has offers a co-working space regularly.
Emporium Avenue – is a bespoke homewares store in Balgowlah with a wide variety of unique, and individually designed pieces to suit many different home styles. Elegant furniture, wall art, cushions, and pot plants adorn this space. Run by Ian and Robyn Vidal, Robyn has a selection of paintings instore, but commissions other pieces to suit your style and tastes.
Orson & Blake – visiting Orson & Blake is an ‘experience’, and this store has a wide variety of contemporary, vintage and ethnic pieces. All items are handpicked from different artists and designers around the world, chosen because of their individuality, purpose, and beauty. There is definitely something for all styles in this boutique, and you will leave feeling inspired.
Ingrid & Sooshi – is a beautiful boutique filled with selected eclectic, original, handmade homewares, accessories and selected items of furniture. Most of the pieces are Ingrid & Sooshi are unique and one off. The owners Shirley and Julie are supporters of Fair Trade and try to make sure that most products are ethically sourced. This relaxed space inspires travel to faraway places.
